How the Rêve weight loss program works
Sustainable weight management is rarely about a single tool. Rêve's program is built around a comprehensive consultation, a personalized plan and regular check-ins. Your plan can include nutrition strategies, fitness recommendations, supportive wellness therapies and, when your provider determines it is appropriate, prescription options. You get accountability and professional guidance instead of guessing on your own.
What your first visit includes
Your first visit covers your goals, lifestyle, eating patterns, sleep, stress, medications and health history. Measurements may be taken, and lab work is often recommended to look at thyroid function, blood sugar, cholesterol and hormones, since these can affect weight. Together you set realistic goals and decide on a first step.
Prescription options
These are prescription treatments, available only after a consultation, a health history review and a licensed provider's decision. They are not appropriate for everyone, and they work best alongside nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Who it's for
The program is for adults who have struggled to lose weight alone, want professional support and are ready to build lasting habits. Eligibility for any medication is decided by your provider.
Who should not start certain treatments
Some medications and programs are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with certain medical histories or when taking certain drugs. Your provider will review your history and will explain which options are appropriate and which are not. Tell your provider about any history of eating disorders, thyroid conditions, gallbladder or pancreas problems and every medication you take.
Check-ins and tracking
Regular check-ins help you stay on track. Your provider reviews progress, side effects, energy and mood, and adjusts your plan. The aim is steady progress you can maintain, not rapid change. Expect honest conversations about what is working and what is not.
Measuring progress beyond the scale
The scale is only one number. Your provider may also track waist measurements, how your clothes fit, energy, sleep, blood pressure and lab markers, since these show whether your health is improving. Looking at several measures helps you stay motivated through weeks when the scale does not move.
Habits that support results
Eating enough protein and fiber, drinking water, strength training, daily movement and consistent sleep make a major difference. If appetite drops on a medication, food quality matters even more. Your plan can include practical guidance for each of these.
